Cuboled di Cini & Nils nasce come rivisitazione della storica lampada Cuboluce, già progettata nel 1972. Cuboled, come Cuboluce allora, incarna un'immagine di assoluta modernità, grazie alla forma semplice (un cubo) ed alle linee essenziali che la contraddistinguono; inoltre è caratterizzata dalla semplicità e immediatezza del suo meccanismo, alzando il coperchio si accende, abbassandolo si spegne, come una vera e propria scatola di luce, evitando così la ricerca dell'interruttore. In più, oggi si avvale del meglio della tecnologia LED.

Cuboled by Cini & Nils was born as a revisitation of the historic Cuboluce lamp, already designed in 1972. Cuboled, like Cuboluce then, embodies an image of absolute modernity, thanks to the simple form (a cube) and the essential lines that distinguish it; moreover, it is characterized by the simplicity and immediacy of its mechanism, by raising the lid it lights up, turning it off, like a real light box, thus avoiding the search for the switch.
